Parker Fuel Filters

Wayside Fuel Filter System

WAYSIDE FUEL FILTER SYSTEM

Clean diesel fuel is more critical than ever – it protects today’s locomotive size engines from premature wear and prolongs the life of on-board fuel filters. To safeguard an engine’s performance and reliability, particulate contamination in diesel fuel must be controlled. Standard on-board fuel filters are not designed to handle high levels of contamination. In order to prevent frequent change outs of on-board filters and prevent mechanical failures, fuel cleanliness levels need to be controlled throughout the entire fuel supply sequence.

Features and Benefits:

  • High efficiency/long life
  • Rugged ASME housing
  • Meets ASME boiler and pressure vessel code specifications
  • Horizontally installed
  • Dual-stage filter design

PUMP AND FILTER FUEL POLISHING SYSTEM – RACOR P510MAM SERIES

During refining, distribution, and storage, fuels are subject to contamination from dirt, rust, water intrusion and condensation, microbial growth, and oxidation. If allowed to enter the fuel tank during transfer, these contaminants can lead to prematurely plugged filters, damaged components, decreased combustion efficiency, and even system failure.

REPLACEMENT CARTRIDGE FILTER ELEMENTS – RACOR FBO SERIES

The FBO filtration assembly can be used on mobile refuelers or installed in refueling cabinets. The unit can also be used for diesel fuel dispensing pumps or as a primary fuel filter/water separator on large diesel engines. The FBO assembly features a locking ring collar, which attaches the filter housing to the aluminum die-cast filter head with four bolts. The closure hardware allows maintenance personnel – even one person – to easily change out the filter cartridge element.

Features :

  • Removes water that enters the system during refueling. Any water present in the fuel stream will support bacterial growth, which can cause clogged filters and result in the formation of corrosive acids. Susceptible components then rust and corrode, leading to erosion and wear of critical fuel system components.
  • Removes hard particles present in air that are introduced during fueling, such as sand and silica.
  • Prevents costly injector damage and increases operational life of downstream filters.
  • Saves time and money by eliminating unplanned maintenance and unscheduled downtime from system component failure.
  • Available in a wide range of configurations to meet the unique requirements of customers’ engines, including marine (UL-approved) versions.
  • Locking ring collar allows a single person to easily perform filter change-outs Print Product Overview
Portable Fuel Filtration Carts – RACOR

PORTABLE FUEL FILTRATION CARTS – RACOR

No matter how carefully gasoline and diesel are refined and handled, contaminants will find their way into fuel during transfer and storage. Water is an engine’s primary enemy and can condense directly from air during normal day/night heating and cooling cycles. The presence of water facilitates microbial growth, which leads to fouling, increased corrosion, and damage to fuel system components. Additionally, rust particles and chips from corroding tanks and piping, as well as air-blown silica and dirt, can lead to clogged filters, reduced combustion efficiency, and even engine failure.

Benefits:

  • Removes free water that often collects in fuel tanks and drums. Free water formation occurs when humid air inside a container or tank cools to the point that water condenses out of the air.
  • Removes hard particles (e.g., sand and silica) present in air that are introduced during transfer and distribution.
  • Saves time and money by eliminating unplanned maintenance and unscheduled downtime from system component failure.
  • Mobile design allows for easy use in the field

Features :

  • Available in four sizes and flow rates
  • PTFE-coated stainless steel filter mesh
  • Electro-conductive plastic material
  • Corrosion-resistant
  • No parts to replace
